Foreman

Responsibilities*:

  • Supervise and lead field crews on active job sites.
  • Read and interpret project plans, specifications, and grade stakes.
  • Coordinate daily work activities with the Project Manager or Superintendent.
  • Manage crew labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Perform and oversee:
    • Seeding operations
    • Erosion control blanket installation
    • Silt fence installation
    • Inlet protection
    • Tree and shrub planting
  • Ensure all work meets IDOT, county, and municipal standards.
  • Maintain daily production reports and communicate job progress.
  • Enforce company, IDOT, and OSHA safety requirements.
  • Train and mentor crew members.
  • Conduct daily equipment and safety inspections.
